The misconception that these money-making sites are scams derives from unrealistic expectations and poor judgement. Some people feel scammed because they don't make as much as they expected, but cmon, this isn't a real job. And people sometimes do the "free trial offers." Now, these offers are "Free" UNTIL a certain period. If you don't cancel your subscription/trial before this period ends, you will be billed. These two reasons are the primary ones for people who call these sites scams.
I've made $270 on the site i used to promote, but it is pretty pitiful compared to the site i currently promote. The site i promote now is far less fancy in terms of site design, but they pay more, a lot more.
You should definitely do the free offers. And if you really want to make money, you should do the "free trial offers." BUT, keep in mind that the trial offers are a bit riskier if you're not good at managing your subscriptions. However, perhaps you actually want some products that are being offered as trials, so you might as well do the trial and continue with the service/product.
Think before you act, and you won't be "scammed."
Now, make money! :)
